Dr. Deanna Gates, a native Houstonian, attended Texas A&M before receiving both her Bachelor and Doctor of Optometry degrees at the University of Houston. She completed her externship training at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, Montana.
As a therapeutic optometrist and licensed glaucoma specialist, Dr. Gates is trained to diagnose and treat many diseases and conditions of the eye. Her primary focus is always clear communication with each patient and providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, watching sports, and baking for her family.
